Epicotyl length in seedlings of soybean cultivars subjected to reduced inter-row spacing

The objective was to evaluate the epicotyl length of seedlings soybean cultivars in field, submitted plant densification by reducing inter-row spacing. Two field experiments were conducted Rio Paranaíba state Minas Gerais and effect reduced spacing (20 cm, 30 40 cm 50 between rows) evaluated. assessment done using a millimeter ruler when plants reached V2 development stage. randomized block design with four repetitions. In experiment 1, BRSMG752S cultivar spacings no differences found among them. 2, simple factorial scheme 4 x 3 considered, cultivars, analyze interaction (96R10, 97R50 98Y21) (20, 30, rows). results 2 indicated that there significant for presented statistically different averages. Thus, it can be concluded seedlings, grown evaluated at stage development, not influenced distance sowing lines 96R10 showed highest 98Y21 lowest mean development.
